If you were given a chance to visit a place, which place
would you choose? This question suddenly came to my mind last night, and I can
answer it immediately : Hokkaido in Japan and Jane Austen's House Museum in
England. Although it is a bit greedy to think of two places, but really, they
both attract me and I would like to step on the soil of these two lands.
England is a country which has long and charming history.
Historical buildings, roads, streets are full of the smell of past. Hokkaido is
a place with paves with fields of seasonal flowers, lavender, sun
flower......and snow as well!! In different season, people can enjoy different
views and emotions, changing with the flowing of time, how beautiful it is!
Jane Austen is my favorite writer, her words have the magic to make readers addicted to their stories. There is a saying, "If you want to understand a story, walk in
the story." I deeply believe in this. Jane Austen's House Museum is in
Chawton in England where full of the breath of Jane, I badly want to walk in to
this little house and experience the live of the characters in Pride and
Prejudice , Emma, Sense and Sensibility......This is the place where they were
"born"!
