involuntary dream

昨晚發了個夢。猛然醒來，那刻的頭腦是令人失笑的無比清晰。然後一個字擠進當時正堵車的思緒——。... 發現原來除了有involuntary memory , 還有發夢也是involuntary 的。

不知道Proust 在他的書裡有否探討過發夢呢。如果involuntary memory is evoked by sensory experience , involuntary dream 又是evoked by 什麼？如果intellectual memory 是sensory memory 的binary opposite , 而我假設voluntary dream 是有如daydream 等日常的projection , 那麼involuntary dream 又是什麼？是nightmare 吧。
